I just had to kick off Lauren and Bryan’s wedding post with a shot of the card Lauren gave to Bryan on their wedding day. It’s completely awesome and completely describes them…unique, funny, and with an unquestioningly-deeply-and-forever-cross-my-heart-stick-a-needle-in-my-eye kind of love. From their awesomely unique style, to their beautifully warm personalities, Lauren and Bryan’s wedding just makes our hearts happy.
Lauren wore two AMAZING dresses on her wedding day: an elegant floor length gown for her ceremony and a super cute tea-length A-line dress for the reception (I loved the detail on this dress!).

Lauren always has this beautiful glow about her but it seemed to double on her wedding day. She was an amazingly beautiful bride.

Julie Vaughn did such a gorgeous job with all the floral arrangements, I loved the added little pop of the black and white striped ribbon.

One of our favorites from the day, taken in the lobby of the W Hotel. Such a stunning bride!!
Bryan looked equally fantastic in his gray suit and matching bow tie. I loved the added accessories of his grandfather’s pocket watch and “A” cuff links.

Bryan’s dad served as the officiant for their wedding and when he had to stop the ceremony to wipe away some tears, I also had to take a second to wipe away my own. Lauren and Bryan are just so obviously soul mates, you can’t but get emotionally swept away right along with them.![]()

The sun was setting just as Lauren and Bryan completed the ceremony. As they exited as husband and wife, they left the shade of the ceremony and stepped into the final rays of sunlight from the day. I love the resulting shot Jon took, it has this wonderful cinematic quality.
As the guests were making their way to the cocktail hour, we snuck outside to catch this crazy sweet moment between the new husband and wife.
Then it was on to some posed photos with the bride and groom (one of our FAVORITE parts of the wedding day). True to their style, Lauren and Bryan wanted to mix in some fun and creative shots and we were totally game! Love them.

Have I mentioned that we love shooting Lauren and Bryan…need I say more…

Simply Charming Socials, Ashley Pepitone Design, Little Byrd Lettering and Juli Vaughn did a killer job decorating the wedding entire day. Their reception table arrangements were some of my favorites. Lauren and Bryan have traveled a great deal together thanks to Bryan’s job so they wanted to have a travel-themed wedding. Each table was assigned a different mode of transportation (ex. motorcycle, skateboard, train, etc.) and was adorned with small golden replicas of the vehicle and identifying place cards.

Lauren is quite crafty herself, she customized these cute champagne glasses for her friends (I think I heard the term “Queen of Glitter” thrown about). When they mailed out their wedding invitations, they asked each guest to write down a wish for the couple on the enclosed paper and mail the wish card back with their RSVP. The wish cards were then hung from the huge paper arrangement over their ceremony archway (created by the amazing Ashley Pepitone Design), so the couple was married under the wishes of their family and friends. LOVE THIS!

Not surprisingly, their cake table was also amazing. The golden cakes were stunning, each one wrapped in a different design.

Instead of giving out traditional wedding favors, the couple donated children’s books to Books of Africa in each guests’ honor.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to all the amazing vendors we had the pleasure of working with at Lauren and Bryan’s wedding!
